Xenia of St. Petersburg

Xenia Grigoryevna Petrov was born between 1719 and 1730, and she reposed in 1803. Her husband died young, and she was often seen in the streets of St. Petersburg, Russia, wearing his military uniform coat. Xenia was a fool for Christ, and she is remembered as the patron saint of those seeking to find a husband or wife, a missing child, a home, or a job. We ask her prayers for this endeavor in honor of those who wish to be married and those who wish to find a home in a community of people who share their experience.

Holy St. Xenia, pray to God for us!

OCSM is a work in progress.

For the moment, this website is the first step toward a national (and international??) Orthodox Christian singles ministry. It’s the work of a group of friends who see the need and want to start addressing it. We hope you’ll stay in touch and help us grow this idea into a real-world reality.
